4. Bot Protection with Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the forms on this website from automated spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When a form is submitted, a token is created and verified by our server with Cloudflare. This transmits your IP address, the time, and technical information about your browser and device to Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile does not set cookies; the data is used solely to check whether the request comes from a human.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified.
